Day 1:
0730 hrs – Pick up from designated location with a briefing on the itinerary. Drive toward Gitarama, continuing to Nyanza for a 30 minutes stop at Nyanza to visit the Kings Palace.
1000 hrs continue drive towards Butare and visit the National Museum, an hour and a half at the museum, then proceed for lunch at Ibis hotel. 1400 hrs ; continue drive to Maraba to visit the factory and see one of the World famous coffee being prepared, buy at canteen and proceed to Nyungwe National.
A brief stop over at Uwinka centre for a soft drink and continue drive to Gisakura tea factory for a brief visit of Colobus and stretch legs with a short walk around tea plantation. Check in at Gisakura guesthouse, dinner and overnight BB.
Day 2:
0500 hrs Early rise with a light breakfast or pack some sandwiches and a bottle of water to report atthe Uwinka reception for the Chimp tracking.
Then back to Gisakura for lunch in the afternoon driver to Kitabi on the way visit Murambi memorial site then drive to Butare. Time allowing, visit the pottery at Gatagara or the tin souvenirs at Butare before driving back to Kigali.
