THE RWANDA SECTOR :
Day 1: Arrive at Kigali Airport.Overnight stay at the Sports View hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National park. Motor Boat excursion trip on Lake Ihema to see giant Crocodiles. Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 3: The savanna wildlife game viewing / game drives, and the birding, i Akagera national park. Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 4: The game drive / game viewing, and the birding, Akagera national park. Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Gisenyi holiday resort town, Lake Kivu. Overnight at the Malahide Paradis Motel.
Day 6: Gisenyi town tour, resting & relaxing. Overnight at Malahide Paradis Motel.
Day 7: Transfer to Kibuye holiday resort town, with a Motor Boat excursion trip on Lake Kivu. Overnight at hotel Bethanie.
Day 8: Transfer to the Nyungwe Forest national park, with birding along the way. Overnight at Gisakura Guest House hotel.
Day 9: The Chimpanzees trekking, the Colobus Monkeys Nature Walks, and birding, in Nyungwe Forest national park. Overnight at Gisakura Guest House hotel.
Day 10: The Water Falls Nature Walk, the exotic Canopy walkway, in the Nyungwe Forest national park. Overnight at the Peace Guest House hotel, in Cyangugu town.
Day 11: The first experiences of tracking the giant Lowland gorillas in the Kahuzi-Biega national park. Overnight at the Peace Guest House hotel.
Day 12: The second experiences of tracking the Lowland gorillas in the Kahuzi- Biega national park. Overnight at the Peace Guest House hotel.
THE BURUNDI SECTOR:
Day 13: Cross the Rwanda / Burundi border post at Bugarama, and drive on to Bujumbura city. Overnight at Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika.
Day 14: Bujumbura city tour, and visit the Rusizi national park. Overnight at Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika.
Day 15: Transfer to Gitega town, visit the Gitega national museum. overnight at Tamotel hotel.
Day 16: Visit the historical Gishora Drums sanctuary, with Drummers & Dancers, in action, and thereafter, transfer to Bujumbura city. overnight at Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika.
Day 17: Drive to Rumonge / motor boat excursion trip on Lake Tanganyika. Ovenight at Resha Resort hotel.
Day 18: The Chimpanzees trekking in the Kigwena Nature Reserve, visit the Mugara Hot Springs, and the Mukamba Fishing Village. Overnight at Resha Resort hotel.
Day 19: Return to Bujumbura, and transfer to Bujumbura Airport for your home-bound Flight.
