TBA-001 – Tanzania parks – 7 days / 6 nights

Day 1: - Kilimanjaro-Arusha-Lake Manyara

You will be met upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Mountain Village Serena. Your guide will pick you up from the hotel at 1500 HRS for Arusha National Park for your evening game drive. Enjoy your evening game drive with your private guide and safari jeep. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Village Serena or similar.

Day 2: - Lake Manyara-Serengeti

Depart after your morning breakfast for Serengeti National Park. Game-viewing from the breakfast terrace can be superb. Additionally there is good resident game throughout the year, especially zebras, wildebeest, impalas, giraffes and elephants. Enjoy your evening game drive at Serengeti National Park which is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Day 3: - Serengeti
Enjoy your early morning and late evening game drive at Serengeti National Park. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 4: - Serengeti-Ngorongoro

Depart after your breakfast for ngorongoro via the olduvai gorge where the cradle of mankind began. The world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is nearly three million years old. The ancient caldera of the extinct volcano shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake. Descend to the rim of the crater for your half day of game viewing at the rim of the crater with your private guide and 4 x 4 safari land cruiser. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Day 5: - Ngorongoro-Tarangire

Depart after your morning breakfast for Tarangire National Park. The fierce sun sucks the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, the withered grass as brittle as straw. The Tarangire River has shriveled to a shadow of its wet season self. But it is choked with wildlife. Thirsty nomads have wandered hundreds of parched kilometers knowing that here, always, there is water. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 6: - Tarangire-Lake Manyara

Transfer to Lake Manyara via Arusha the capitol for all safari departures. Aririve in time for lunch at Arusha. Transfer to Lake Manyara. Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobob strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Day 7: - Lake Manyara-Kilimanjaro
